Behind every care needs assessment, care and support plan, and care package is a person, a family, a friendship group, a support network. There are stories of independence gained, challenges overcome, frustrations encountered, and lives changed.
We want to hear directly from the people who know adult social care best – those who use it and those who have tried to access it.
Our survey is not simply about identifying problems; we are equally keen to hear about the services, staff and support that have made a genuine difference. Understanding what works is just as important as understanding what could be improved.
By gathering feedback from across the borough, we hope to identify themes, celebrate good practice, and help to ensure that the voices of residents inform future conversations about social care.
Whether your experience has been positive, challenging, or a mixture of both, your perspective matters.
If you have experience of adult social care, please click here to take our survey.
If you need help to complete the survey, or would prefer a paper copy or another format, please contact our Policy and Campaigns Manager, Pippa Maslin at pippa@mertoncil.org.uk or on 07884 232391.
