We are looking for a new Trustee & a new Treasurer to join our board

Merton CIL is seeking 2 new trustees one to take on the role of treasurer to join our board of eight members.

Do you have:

• Commitment to improving the lives of Deaf and Disabled people
• Financial skills and experience
• The energy and interest to help us plan the future direction of our charity?

If so, we are waiting to hear from you!

 

Merton CIL is a successful user-led organisation promoting the inclusion, choice, and independence of Deaf and Disabled people in Merton. 87% of our board, 50% of our staff and 77% of our members are Disabled people with lived experience. We provide support to Deaf and Disabled people in all areas of their lives.

 

We are keen to find new trustees who share our values and want to make a difference to the lives of Deaf and Disabled people in Merton. We can offer

• The support of a strong board who work well together
• Training about the trustee role and inclusion and diversity

 

If you have skills and experience in finance, IT or fundraising and could contribute to sustainability of Merton CIL please get in touch. For the Treasurer role we would particularly like to talk to people who have experience of charity finance or the equivalent.
