At Merton CIL, we believe that building an engaged, informed and connected community is key to Disabled people feeling included, supported and confident that together we can make change happen. Our growing community is made up of Disabled people and supporters of our aims.
How to become a member of our community
It is free and easy to become a member of our community. Just complete the short form below or get in contact with us by telephone or email to let us know you are interested in joining.
By signing up as a member of our community you will:
- Have the ability to connect with other Disabled people at monthly sessions. This can help with isolation, loneliness, relieving stress and collective well-being.
- Receive free member treats - these may include discounts, Merton CIL materials and more.
- Get personalised invitations to our annual events such as My Voice Matters.
- Have the opportunity to attend free Craftivism and Chat sessions each month. All materials and refreshments are free for members of our community.
- Have the opportunity to join our Access Champions group if you are passionate about making our borough more accessible. Being a member of this group will give you access to free training and development and support to build leadership skills.
- Receive an informative newsletter.
- Have two opportunities each year to feed into improving our organisation and ensuring that we are addressing the needs of local Disabled people. You will have the chance to join an annual M&E focus group and vote at our Annual General Meeting.
