Merton CIL prides itself on being user-led. We have spent the last few months gathering the views of staff, trustees, volunteers, members, service users, and supporters. We are grateful to everyone who has contributed their ideas.

Our Policy and Campaigns Manager, Pippa Maslin, has used everybody’s contributions to produce our organisation’s response to the government’s consultation, and we hope that the government slows down and starts listening. The first reading of the Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment Bill came twelve days before the consultation deadline, which does not fill us with hope that the government is committed to genuine engagement with the public. Nevertheless, we have submitted our response, which you can read here.
If you have any comments or questions, please contact Pippa.
