Following our Access Champions’ peaceful protest on 8 August and subsequent meeting with the Theatre Director and the Theatre Manager on 29 August, we are very happy that a new lift was installed on 25 September – a whole month ahead of schedule – and that we have established a positive relationship with the theatre. 

Reliable step-free access is essential for any venue that prides itself on being inclusive. We look forward to once again being able to enjoy theatrical performances in our borough!
